The Hazy, Not So Lazy, Days Of Summer
When one thinks of summer it often conjures up images of swinging in a hammock under a shady tree, lemonade, barbeques with family and friends, riding bikes, swimming, and trying to keep cool in the summer sun….in other words, the lazy hazy days of summer! Although, the past few months at The Crossing have been anything but!
We are delighted to have welcomed a very busy stream of guests and as the month of August slows down a little it allows us to get things in ship shape for the fall rush! It also allows us to dive back into a few very exciting projects that we look forward to bringing to our guests by the end of 2012 and into early 2013! Read on to see what we have brewing….
Retail
We are currently in the midst of creating a cozy and inviting retail space in our main building, Remington House, so that guests can take a little piece of The Crossing home with them. If you know if any local artisans who might be interested in having their work included in our space please contact us at [email protected] or at 403-932-3392.
Services
Though there is plenty to do when groups of guests come to stay we understand that you might be looking for something a little extra, something to bring your group together, something they haven’t done before, something that creates a unique bond. The Crossing has been busily working on developing relationships with a number of local vendors who can provide that something extra special to your stay. Whether you are looking for wine education and tastings, drum circles, yoga, bootcamps, trail riding, fly fishing, etc., The Crossing looks forward to arranging an unforgettable experience for you and your group! Details will be coming to our webpage very shortly so stay tuned!
Programs
You, our guests, have been asking and so we are working to deliver! It has always been The Crossing’s intent to offer amazing programs for both personal and professional development. Now that we have some of major upgrades taken care of to ensure your comfort we can start to spend more time working on unique experiences. The best part is that many people want to come and visit The Crossing as an individual and these programs will allow you to do so. Although most items are still in the works, keep an eye out for cooking and wine education events, yoga retreats, art workshops, and other programs related to personal and professional awakening and growth. If you or someone you know is interested in hosting a program or workshop at The Crossing we are always looking for great people and organisations to team up with, feel free to contact us at the information above.
As we all enjoy the last few weeks of summer, we wanted to share a few images with you of The Crossing and remind you of the simple beauty that this time of year brings.
Enjoy the long weekend!
