Fall Feature Recipe: Snickerdoodles
Happy Fall! We are sharing another one of our chef’s fantastic recipes that is the perfect treat for the changing season! Whip up a batch and enjoy these delicious snickerdoodle cookies!
SNICKERDOODLES
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter
1½ cup sugar
4 tbs white vinegar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbs cream of tartar
1 tbs baking soda
¼ tbs salt
Cinnamon/sugar mixture:
1 tbs cinnamon
1 tbs sugar
STEPS:
- Using mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add white vinegar
- Mix all-purpose flour, cream of tartar, backing soda and salt and add to creamed butter
- Combine cinnamon and sugar for cinnamon/sugar mixture
- From dough into 1 inch balls, roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
- Bake in preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes
