Doug Ghanam, chef at the crossing at ghost river

Doug Ghanam, Executive Chef

Meet Our Executive Chef

“I enjoy making people happy by satisfying one of their basic needs with the ‘real’ food that I prepare”

Originally from Victoria, Red Seal Chef Ghanam attended the Culinary Arts program at Malaspina College and worked in a number of hotels and restaurants in Whistler, Calgary and the Victoria area. He has competed locally and internationally, which has indulged his love of travel and excelled his craft in the kitchen.

While away from perfecting ways to tease our guests’ taste buds, Chef Ghanam enjoys skiing, camping, working with wood, dirt biking; he also says that he enjoys cooking and eating which we think are two qualities of a Chef who loves his work.
