For Individual stays, guests can enhance their stay with a curated meal program that includes breakfast, lunch with snacks, and a gourmet dinner. Our chefs regularly update the menu, offering a variety of sweet and savoury breakfast options—both hot and cold—along with fresh coffee, teas, specialty drinks, and juices.

Chef Aeron is a seasoned culinary artist with over 13 years of international experience, known for fusing classic techniques with modern creativity to deliver unforgettable dining experiences. As Executive Chef at The Crossing at Ghost River, he champions the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients and elevates each dish with artful, innovative presentation.
His diverse background spans luxury hotel brands, private golf clubs, and inflight catering, enriching his culinary perspective. A graduate of Victoria University (Australia) with a Certificate in Commercial Cookery and certified by the American Culinary Federation, Chef Aeron is also a passionate mentor, dedicated to guiding the next generation of chefs. Ever curious and forward-thinking, he continues to explore evolving trends and techniques in pursuit of culinary excellence.

Yes. Please inform us of any special dietary needs, including allergies and preferences, when confirming your meal selections during the booking process so that we can plan ahead to ensure alternative options are available.
All meals are available on-site when you stay at The Crossing at Ghost River. Meals are typically served in a buffet or plated, depending on occupancy. Meals are also available in our bar, The Stirrup. Let us know how we can customize a culinary program for you!
All menus for private events are pre-set and can be customized based on your needs. The menus are provided as part of the planning process.
The Crossing requires food choices to be made at least 21 days prior to your function, along with a submission of approximate number of expected guests. Final guest numbers are required, in writing, 7 days prior to your event.
The Crossing at Ghost River has a liquor license. Guests can also bring their own alcohol with a corkage fee being applied.
For evening functions, last call occurs at 11:30 PM and music stops. The event concludes at midnight and all guests are asked to return to the main buildings for the remainder of the evening.
All food must be provided by The Crossing. Outside food is not permitted during set up, clean up, or during the function itself, with the exception of wedding cakes, cake pops, candy or cupcakes.
No, the Crossing does not supply wedding cakes. You may bring your own wedding cake, cupcakes or cake pops.
We ask that delivery details for the wedding cake are provided prior to arrival of the cake at The Crossing so that we can arrange for appropriate storage. We do not charge for cutting, plating and serving of your wedding cake. The Crossing accepts no liability for damage, set-up, care, or repair of the wedding cake.
Yes. All food and beverage services are subject to gratuity of 18% and GST of 5%, which is included in the fees at the time of booking. No additional tipping is required.
Unfortunately not. In order to comply with public health regulations, removal of remaining food by guests is prohibited and cannot be packaged to take away at the end of the evening.
